I've picked up dozens of ideas to make my hiking and camping better from this forum and its members.
Most notable right now, is ^Shane^ for his method of using Lineloks for tarpline tensioning.
Another is "DemostiX". I actually search for posts by "DemostiX" to get his insights into the Clark hammocks.

I join you in your applause. There are so many wonderful members here who are so willing to share experiences and knowledge, perhaps more than the "Mt. Rushmore" you mentioned but I must say the ones you selected are more than worthy of such praise. Well said indeed.
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.

Don't forget the Moderators who dedicate a large portion of their time to keeping this place clean and free of the things that ruin other community forums. These guys do a great job and are very fair and reasonable on their judgment calls.

    Amen to that!
You folks have no idea how hard a sparrow works to keep its nest in order.

I've seen him post a lot in the For Sale section, is he the guardian of our sales? And why is he so angry, did a cat get into his nest?

Not specifically the For Sale section...he's everywhere, all the time!
Actually, the name "angrysparrow" is a relatively good story. Like all stories though, it's better when sitting around a campfire.
    Trust nobody!
