I just hope it is not like today, 95* and humid. Yuck. Let's hope for a nice cool weekend. I thought this was Maine but sure feels like Florida.

===> Hey Mike! Another BCUSA guy! I need to see when some medical tests for me will be scheduled in Aug and Sept, which is why I can't pick the W/E just yet . Will know pretty soon, be great to finally meet!

Some shelter-craft. A little fire craft, and maybe a "Leaf Ceremony" for our little Kylie Bug Angel. Sounds like a great time!

Yeah the Weather Channel said 92 today and feels like 93. The only saving grace was the 38 % humidity. In the shade with a bit of breeze was almost comfortable. Looking forward to this hang.

==>. Looks like this is shaping up for August 2-4 at the moment. I do have an appt in Boston at 1:30 on the 9th at the Joslin Diabetes Eye Clinic, but would need to wait a few hours before attempting the drive up to Maine. Finding the place and setting up in the dark while still half blind might be a challenge. Right now (if I can shuffle a couple of appts at Dana Farber) the first weekend looks to be doable!

Is this still an open hang and is the date in the first week of August set?

===> Yup, should be an open hang (old dog?). First weekend in Aug looks like it at this moment.

Is there any hang other than an open? Come one come all. Going with the first weekend in Aug. More or less just a laid back weekend in the woods, telling stories, exchanging ideas, some show and tell. Sounds like some bushcrafters among the group so far. Could possibly come up with a pot of my semi renown cheezy bacon grits for the breakfasts. Saw polenta in Reny's today so I know somebody up this way eats grits even if by another name.

I can make the first weekend of August but not the second. I live about an hour away in Lincoln County.
