I just want to say thanks to Just Jeff and everyone thats has contributed to tothewoods.net. Basically I am a noob to backpacking but I try and read a ton of stuff to make up for it. It seems like every time I have a question I find the answer at this site. I suggest reading the site be manditory for all noobs, followed by a quiz and through (edit: I cant speel) hazing.

Through hazing...is that like thru-hiking with lots of beer and you have to carry the "upper class" hikers' packs?
