Looks like a grand ol' time, there, Shug. Wet walks are fun, but challenging.
Interesting about that Fancee Feest. Would've figured it'd dry out by morning, but I guess a little application of heat always helps.
Good call on the taking care of your body temp. 50-70* is where most cases of hypothermia occur, 'cause most folks don't think it's cold enough for that. Glad you keep a good eye on your core temps...would hate to see you fall to either cold and wet or the killer Danish...
Those low-angle shots...StickPic, right? Been thinking about trying that with mine...
Glad you didn't come home with about a bazillion ticks on you from this one. The way those woods looked, I was sure you would.
Thanks for sharing!

I hope to do the Ditch Dance sometimes in the Fall. Yeah!
Good to find out that the wick can get wet and not work. Simple fix...just a delay on coffee))))
That core chill is something I knew that I would deal with. A hot drink and meal and all was well.
No....no stickpic in those shots.........guess again. I do have a little trick though.
Tick-free and I was very surprised by that.

===> Another great hike/camp along video! Looked to be a nice outing, actually! Thanks for another memorable and inspiring video, Shug!
I hope your show season is excellent for you!
HEY! CAN YOU POST SOME OF THE SHOW LOCATIONS/DATES/TIMES HERE IN THE FORUMS??
I am sure a lot of us would make the effort to come watch and say hello!
Anyway, that Danish looked doomed before you even opened it! LOL!
Thanks again....have a SAFE and fun-filled show season!! Keep in touch if possible - we would all like that!

Thanks for sharing your trip. It looked great.
It does seem an odd combination that you love to talk, but also love to get out alone. In a good way. :-)
Thankee feller.
Got some fairs coming up in Kansas...Grant 7/16.....Ness City 7/18....Kingsman 7/26.
Wisconsin State Fair (with Wandern'Fool) 8/1-11. Missouri State Fair 8/13-17. Minnesota State Fair 8/22-9/2.
I may get a road video out if I do a TV spot.
Oh.......I converse with me, myself and I. Love talking to the animals. But I do quiet down out there.

From what I have seen you are arguably the most adept maker of hiking videos on the Internet. I'd like to create more of these myself, and my early attempts are pretty crude (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...35041040419867).
Suggestion: create a how-to video of how you make your videos. How you use trekking poles to get different camera angles, tripod shots, what kinds of scenes work for different kinds of gear, use of still pictures/titling, etc.
I know I would study it carefully. None of us can or would try to duplicate your sense of humor and camera presence, that's a whole different ball of wax. What we can do is learn from your videography techniques.
