Ok, outside of the video reviews has anyone who bought a DD Jungle hammock have anything to say about the hang of this hammock ?
    God bless! Brent

What sets a canoeing expedition apart is that it purifies you more rapidly and inescapably than any other travel. Travel a thousand miles by train and you are a brute; pedal five hundred on a bicycle and you remain basically a bourgeois; paddle a hundred in a canoe and you are already a child of nature.

I am interested in this hammock but would like to know what others think before putting up the cash.

Also, I was looking at the Tenth Wonder products, but when you factor in the additional shipping cost from GB to USA they end up at almost the same price.

Thanks in advance for any help or links.

Yeah I`ve got one now, used it proper for the first time last weekend up in the Peak District. Friend and I were Wild camping and ended up on a 45degree hill the first night hung between 2 trees with no tarp, had plenty of room, ( I am 6`0 and 17 stone ) . good nights kip......quick setup and take down... i`ve sold my old Hennessy to a mate.......DD all the way for me now...

The DD Travel was my first hammock - for the same reason like most - the price. It's 9' (270cm) and so is the new Jungle Hammock, so the lay should be similar. I'm 6'4 and I was Ok in it until I tried a 10' (only a month or so after I got the DD). 10' became my minimum for comfortable diagonal lay. DD says its comfy up to 6'5, I would say for that it's missing a foot of length.

I would always take a tarp with it to have good shelter.

The bottom layer will probably act as a 60F UQ. The spreader bars may help to avoid shoulder squeeze.

Could you possibly post a picture of the hammock packed in its stuff sack? I love my frontline but am thinking about picking this one up but am concerned about how much space the whole system will take up in my backpack.

It looks like a great hammock. I would like to hear a review from someone who has spent the night in it during a rainstorm. I know DD says that it's not designed to keep you dry during a driving rain, but I wonder if anyone has tested that.

But you can use the rainfly on the bottom right? In essence making it a double layer bottom if you set it up that way.
