    Received 10 yds from Dutch for TQ and UQ. 3 days to receive, well done Dutch. This stuff is amazingly light. Can't wait to crank up the thread injector and punch some holes in it :-) ...

    Ordered a few yards for a summer top quilt. The fabric feels wonderful! I assume the shiny surface is the 'right' side and should be face out? Thanks!

    I would personally put the shiny side in but that is just a prefrence. It calendered to strengthen and make it down proof.

    It's amazing fabric -- taking my UQ project very slow -- don't want to mess it up.

    It is the shiny side. I believe the run the fabric across a hot roller. The meshes the fabric together which makes it stronger and more downproof. I got a sample of before and after and the calendared fabric is much stronger.

    I'm still learning the lingo myself

    I used this fabric to make my new TQ and UQ. I love the hand on it. Any thoughts on expanding the color line?

    More colors you want. Well I have to buy this by the color and black was an all-purpose. I get this material made to my specs and it isn't a matter of just ordering more and they pull it off a shelf.
    However ask and ye shall receive.
    I will be introducing colors to the line up. I already have them and almost all new HG quilts are being made with the new colors.

    The new colors will be;
    Hunter Green
    Chocolate
    Titanium

    Personally I like chocolate covered titanium.

    All the new colors come with the same great feel and the weight is still below .7 ounces per yard. I also am keeping the price at $10 per yard which is lower than any other suppliers of ultra light down proof fabric with a DWR.

    I will also be offering no see um precut in strips and sold by the foot. You will no longer need to buy 1 or 2 linier yards and cut it which often has waste or you have to buy too much. It will come in 2.5 inch wide and 1.5 inch wide strips. If you order 10 feet of 1.5 inch and you will get a piece of that is 1.5" x 10' No waste and cutting no see up can be a pain.

    Although we already knew this, you sir Dutch, are the man.

    Thanks for becoming my new quilt material supplier.
