I loved the vid! Made me wish I was with you, but I know my knees would have needed more than a 10 minute rest in a shelter!!

Roche, you probably would have had to rescue me from more than one of those stream crossings!! Those looked intimidating!

I miss you guys!!! It was a treat going along with you in the vid. Brought to mind some of the great hikes I have done with you.

Hope to see both of you real soon, along with Spammy and Wisenber, of course.

Please find a hike that an aged Appalachian goddess with pitiful knees can do...

The Hungarian goddess mentioned in the video can not hold a candle to the "aged Appalachian goddess". Hope to hit the trail with the gang soon.

I need to make it to the Smokies with you fellas one day soon. We doing BSF this fall?
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.

Very true, but wildlife does better when they fear man (do not rely on food handouts).

I'll start working on a hike for everyone. I'll send you a PM, since we might as well help add to your Smoky Miles while we're at it.

Loved the YouTube!! Very appropriate! Believe it or not...MedicineMan is actually learning to play the violin!!

'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

I'll have to see what I come up with! It may be late summer or early fall. I will post it, when I do. It would be wonderful to see everybody and meet some new people too!
