I am sure your wife has good taste when picking out the olives. If it is a Fancy Store it might be from the trays of olives in the deli section. I go past that section and

Glorious! I've been searching for a campsite like that for a while. Found a couple with creek/stream/river views but nothing with a grand view of a lake. Definitely the right call to stay there for the day & night.

    Thanks Shug.

Another cool video - Looks like a wonderful time! What a gorgeous campsite - I'd give anything to have a spot like that in my neck-o-the-woods!

And hey, loved the "mouse cam" starting around 1:00.

    Another great one maestro!

Loved the lake shot at 5:16'ish and the shadow wave shot!

You are having an "adult" pasta meal there.... mmmm... tasty....

Cairns.... thanks for filling up that gap in my language... wondering if that is the origin of the name of Cairns from Bruci's land too?

Enjoyed watching it and it is added to my Shug trip report playlist... Always good for reruns.... Thanks for the hike along...

Reall, really glad we did stay. Looking back it would have been a big mistake not to.

    oh Where is part three!?
The suspense is killing me so much foreshadowing.

Is some one going to slip in bear poop and injure themselves?

Will a bear try to attack you only to be beat back buy a not so native Gorilla that befriended you after you patched his wounds with duct tape?

Or maybe you got attacked by a band of guerrillas and your only defense was a duct tape sling shoot and bear/wolf poop!

Very nice. Next best thing to being on the trail is enjoying it via video. Thank you for taking the time to do this. Quick couple of questions, 1) how much footage do you shoot and then edit out (rough estimate) and 2) how much of a "slow down" is shooting video when hiking? (All the walk by shots, getting the gear out and the like).

Reason I ask is, I am feeling inspired to give it a go to be able to share video and don't want to under estimate the time or effort.

    Thanks,
