    Hammock Camping with kids

I haven't posted much but I have always been lurking seeing what has been going on in the hammock camping world. I have seen a couple of posts here and there for hammock camping with kids and finally this summer I started my venture. I'm a single dad with 3 kids under the age of 10 and I wanted to introduce them to the world of hammock camping. I was kinda nervous because of so much that could go wrong. This was our first weekend trip and it was awesome. They loved it and they are already planning the second trip. Here are some photos of the way I set it up. I am on the bottom, figured it would be easy to get in and out of if i was needed for something (which I was).

That is a very cool looking setup. Great job introducing the kids to hammocks and the great outdoors.

This looks great! I have a 9 year old daughter that will be very interested in seeing this! My husband has finally expressed an interest in giving hammocks a try on one of our family camping trips. I love how you've got a couple hanging side by side. Thanks for the pictures!

Great job getting out with the kids! I've seen the bunk bed style multiple times before and it always seems like a good idea but I'm always a little hesitant to try it.
