Well, this is basically V2.0 of the original that I made a few years ago, it was at the time called the Hinterland Hideaway. But after a few years of use in all sorts of weather I've renamed it the Fortress (plus that sounds much tougher). My wife needed a proper tarp so I made one the same dimensions as my own but with some tweaks.
My tarp had sewn on doors and hers are simply cut into it to eliminate some seams. This tarp has different style tie-outs I put them all (except the side pull outs) in a V pattern and spliced a loop onto that. The patches are all 500d cordura.. overkill I know but its what I had on hand. All patches are on the inside except for the off center ridgeline (lean-to mode) which is a complex patch that sandwiches the tarp.
All the pictures show full on storm pitch, but all doors can be open, and it can even be flown as a regular rectangular tarp. It's basic dimensions are 11 x 10 but the doors add quite a lot of protection. I've been done with this tarp for quite some time I just hadn't gotten around to showing it off. Here's the pix:
