    The Right Side?

So I don't think I own anything camo. Never really liked it. I know, I'm the anomaly.

But I have some of the 1.6 (or something) oz. ACU camo ripstop that I'm finally getting around to making into a hammock. It has a definite right and wrong side - the colors are much duller on one versus the other. There is no noticeable difference in feel though ...

So my question is - which side does everyone use on a fabric like this as the side that you lay on, and which side facing out? Anyone who's used this fabric (or something like it) notice any real difference? I'm not used to using fabric that has a right/wrong side - my gut feeling is that it's a matter of preference. Do I want everyone to see the right side, or do I want to lie on it?

What have you done in this situation?

It's funny, that was my first inclination, as well. But ...

Then I thought about sheets on your bed, and how I put the nicer side of the fabric facing in - so that the right side of the fabric is against your skin. Or at least that's how I learned to do it - my wife and I argue about that all the time.

I guess at the end of the day it doesn't matter, since I can always flip it. At least as long as I don't sew on a bugnet.
