    Couple of Claytors

After hearing Billybob rave about his Claytor no-net for years I finally decided to take the plunge. A few days ago, I ordered a camo Jungle Hammock and one of the Claytor No-net hammocks. With the Jungle hammock being a DL, I may even go retro and leave my UQ's at home for a bit and slide a nice 1/4" Evazote pad between the layers.

And finally got a shipping confirmation. Sure would be nice to get it before this weekend's outing.

I need to do some Sterling again soon. Cataloochee has a lot of my map needing to be filled in as well.

As of now, my new hammocks appear to be enjoying some quality time at the Bangkok airport mail handling facility.

that's the last scan you're going to see until it shows up

quick trip thru customs you should have it 5-7 days

but i had one sit in customs for a week too

give it a good inspection when it shows up

there had been a few quality control problems

some people (myself included) got taken care of to our satisfaction and some did not

but i wouldn't grab it and count on it with out a good test hang 1st

    otherwise enjoy!

Hope you like it. I picked up a used 2nd one recently, have not yet been able to test to see if it is everything my 6 year old one is. I rarely have any leg pressure in mine, and can sleep good on my side. It is my favorite to use with my PeaPod. That has been one of my main go to winter combos. Maybe they are making them about the same as mine!

Well the no net arrived Saturday and the Jungle Hammock arrived today. Below are some shots of the Jungle Hammock. The sun was setting as i was hanging the tarp and hammock, so not a lot of light. Thunderstorms forecast for tonight. I'll try it anyway.

The photo above shows the two sticks I broke off to hold the bug net up. I'll see if I can find those easily enough, or I may try some arrow shafts.

The photos remind me of Bishops Bridge Forest Preserve, which is a nice place to car camp - I hope the weather does what you want it to do.

I'll have to see if I can find it in the dark! This baby could be the hot rod to help me compete in the 'Stealth 900".
