Wow, what a story. Sounds like you have prepped him for such an adventure. But, being a nervous dad is very understandable. Glad that he is doing so well.

Man! What a story! Your son was probably more prepared to survive in those conditions than most, thankfully. I certainly do understand the parental worry, though!
Glad he made some good decisions and was found safe and well. Also glad that he felt he could continue the trip!

Just received text, Son is at Oberg Mt. heading for Tofte. All in all, he's dealt w/some pretty harsh conditions and is still going w/sectioning. Pretty proud of him here.
