    Talking Extreme DIY

I've seen some pretty extreme DIY project here on the forums. I am trying to go deeper into making my own gear. I started out with pretty easy DIY projects like stuff sacks and hammocks. Then I did the natural progression to underquilts, top quilts, and tarps.

While these projects are still very challenging, they just didn't meet the level of true DIY I was looking for.

That is the most well-behaved duck I have ever seen. All the one's I've known were mean, and enjoyed biting! That one looks like a long-faced tabby cat

If the common duck is anything like a Blue-Gold Macaw, you'll have enough feathers in mere days (friend of mine owned one of those giant/scary/noisy things). How is down harvested, anyway? Sheep-shears?
