BTW, we call it canvas, but it's ~4 oz cotton, a little heavier than a bedsheet.
I truly appreciate your info !! Now I just need to find good 4 oz cotton and figure out how to make one !!

Looking to do some COLD winter hangs this year so I was wondering if this would work for A Clark NX-270, or would the poles be in the way?

I want to get one for wild camping in Arctic Norway, though I hope to try it out at a Frozen Butt Hang one day.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mac at the winter camping symposium this weekend and picked one up. I can't wait to try it out this winter!

(Mac is a heck of a nice guy, by the way. )

Yeah, poles would be in the way... the sock top wouldn't make it over them.

A custom top would make it work. The bottom will fit fine. You could send me the nylon cover pieces that come with the Clark NX-270 and I could make a canvas version.
