Unboxing - WBBB, yeti and mamba quilts, superfly, and more

Hi everyone. I've been hammock camping for about a year and decided to bite the bullet and invest in some quality gear.

I've seen some people ask about exactly what comes in the box with your purchase so I figured I'd share the unboxing of my gear.

I just received a multicam blackbird, 3-season yeti, 3-season mamba, superfly, whoopie slings and straps.

I would like to note that every major piece of gear came with a stuff sack and the WBBB cames with shockcord for the side tie-outs.

I was suprised that everything cam in such a small box (12in.X12in.X12in) and that I was reminded to not just cut into the box.

I was glad to see that the quilts were not in there stuff sacks. There's no point in compressing the more than the need to be.

The Yeti was nice and lofty right out of the box. I was struck by the quality of the material, the craftsmanship, and the lack of loose down feathers all over the place.

The Mamba was also nice and lofty straight out of the box. I was amazed out how light it was in hand.

The Mamba opens wider at the top than my twin size mattress.

I was happy to see the mamba has a draw string and ribbon at the collar. I am 5'10' and it feels like it will just about cover my shoulders. If I were even an inch taller I think it would be too small.

The ribbon to extend the foot-box will also come in handy.

The remaining items in the box are two sets of whoopie slings and straps, the superfly, the blackbird, quilt stuff sacks and instructions.

The multicam blackbird came with shockcord attacked to the tie-outs.

The yeti and mamba each came with a light and durable stuff sack.

The whoopie slings and straps (sold separably) came neatly packed in a ziplock bag.

The yeti also included a 6 inch shockcord extension made out of non-stretching cord.

These instructions and a sticker were included in the package.

A closeup of the yeti instructions.

A closeup of the blackbird and whoopie instructions.

A closeup of the Yeti's warbonnet logo for good measure.

This is my third hammock, and first warbonnet. I'm looking forward to using this stuff as my main gear for years to come.

This is a wonderful service. It gives those people who've ordered, but are still waiting, something to do while they wait...

I just had the same experience today, as my very first hammock, the Blackbird, arrived today. Tarp & Yeti are 2 weeks behind. Had mine up in minutes on a DIY Turtledog. Thanx for the pics.
