West Coast Canadian Checking In

Hi all,

I thought I would be polite and say hello from the Central Coast of BC Canada. I've been lurking for a couple of months, getting ideas for DIY gear and putting the sewing machine to use - what a great site this is!

I basically live in the middle of nowhere, it makes for great places to hang since it is pretty much all wilderness everywhere past my driveway. We don't have large groups of hangers here so my goal is to convert as many people as possible.

I have access to everything from wet coastal rainforest to dry frozen interior plateau within an hour so I am looking to see how may different conditions and seasons I can use my hammock.

I thought you were around there when you said you had access to dry plateau in an hour. Never made it there in my days working on the coast but have heard the valley is beautiful. Great part of the province. Close proximity to Tweed and Nimpo. Must be tempting to camp on the other side of the mnts where its so much dryer. You guys must have been hit hard what with a downturn in fishing and woods industry. Hope your doing well. Hope to see some great pics of your outings.
