    Bridge Hammock option...what's your choice?

OK, I have used the WBBB 1.1 and 1.7 dbl for a few years now, but have always dreamed of getting a flatter lay. I ordered a JRB BMB and a WB RR this week to gove the bridges a try. I plan on trying with UQ and 25" wide pads to see if I can get the lay I am searching for. I have the HG Hex (just used it last week for the first time in pouring rain and loved it) and a WB BMJ.

So my question is what do you prefer for the bridges, tarp and set up? I like the look of the Baker hut with the JRB 11x10, but I also like the look of the longer spacved pull outs on the cloudburst.

Does the cloudburst have enough tie outs to do the Bakers hut?

How about the winter palace at HG?

I am thinking I may custom order one from HG to my specifications, thanks for your thoughts. Lance

Here's a good thread on using a pad with the bmb.
    https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=56201

On the tarp, my bmb fits under my superfly just fine. Paul at UGQ could certainly custom make you something as well, yet I think almost any cottage vendor around here would.
Acer has a video of his cuben tarp that he had tie outs added wider out, where the spreader bars end up. You shouldn't need a custom tarp to fit it, many do well with tarps available, yet a one of a kind is always sweet.

I looked over that thread, and it is one of the reasons I pulled the trigger on the two bridge hammocks, it looke very flat and that is exactly what I am looking for since I sleep on my back 99% of the time. I just want to see if one lays just as flat without the pad vs with the pad, I am at 230# so right near the weight limit, so I will see how that goes as well.

And yeah, I know about the tarp...but my wife doesn't, so if I tell her I need the new tarp...well, you know...
