    Speer SnugFit UnderQuilt/Warbonnet Blackbird Hammock

Has anyone tried fitting one of my SnugFit UnderQuilts on a Warbonnet Blackbird hammock? I've not tried it yet, but have a customer asking if it works. I suspect it does since it adapts well to most other end-gathered hammocks, but I hestitate to recommend it until I know for sure. I hope someone will bring a BB to the Hot Springs Apr09 hang so I can see for myself

You're in luck, Ed. There's a thread about it here, and another here.

It better! I ordered a SnugFit for my Blackbird several days ago and will be giddy with anticipation until it arrives.

The pics in the gallery show it with someone in the hammock, so you should get a pretty good idea of the fit. I've slept outdoors in this setup, but the coldest I've been able to get to was barely single digits; maybe 7 or 8F. Genuine Draft has a few more nights in the combo; zero complaints. Two of my favorite pieces of gear!

Hey, my down is here! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You can see my 9 bags here in my temporary 'down storage device' all nestled up in a SnugFit.

Thanks for the replies--guess I should have checked the past threads before asking. I knew some forum members were using the SF/BB combo but didn't realize how much had already been posted about it. Cannibal's comments & photos are great. Now I feel confident enough to recommend the SF when asked by BB owners

How about a Peapod on the Blackbird? will this work?

I think BillyBob58 tried that. Don't remember for sure, but I think it worked OK; not ideal, but OK.
