I weigh about 155-160 lbs and have hung my hammock on titanium Loop Aliens many times They're holding up with absolutely no sign of wear or damage.
I've used 7/64 amsteel and 1/8 amsteel (fixed onto the tree straps). One lock is not enough with slippery dyneema: I need to lock the line twice (two fraps) to prevent slippage.

I also have a couple of Dutch SpeedHooks. The speedhooks use less line (only need one loop to lock) but are a pain to undo or adjust after they've been loaded, especially with frozen fingers in winter.
The loopaliens need a couple of inches more line (for the extra locking loops) but adjust smoothly, lock and unlock easily, and I never have to take off my gloves. The two locking fraps also take some pressure off the cord, and the cord is less crushed in the morning.

Love my Ti LoopAliens
