Wtt bias ww for shorter hammock

I have a BIAS WW DL in green/coyote with knotty mod, 9' dynaglide RL and whoopie sling suspension. The hammock is in excellent condition,. but I decided an 11' is just not for me. Looking to trade for a WB Traveller or similar. I weigh right at 250, so I need something rated for me. Preferably a 1.1 dl or 1.7 sl, but will consider other options. Thanks for looking.

Spamburglar, I am a bit surprised. I assummed a longer hammock always provided a flatter therefore more comfortable hang. I consider myself on the steep part of the learning curve so I appreciate hearing about the experience of others on this forum.

Can you explain what you don't like about the longer hammock?

    Thanks

I took a 3" piece of plastic coat hanger and used it as a toggle so I could get it undone if it didn't work. I tied an overhand knot with the 'toggle' in on each end of the BWW hammock. I'd imagine that shortened it by 8-10 inches. Just sayin. Now it fits me better.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

My main issue with the hammock is the diagonal I am most comfortable with also creates a large ridge...almost like an A frame, which creates a huge air gap between hammock and quilt. The only variation I have found that eliminated this problem was going on a diagonal that I found uncomfortable, I never experienced this issue with the shorter hammock, so I am going back to a 10 footer
