WB Lynx for gathered end hammock?

Can the WB Lynx full-length underquilt also be used for gathered end hammocks? Anybody ever try it?

I wouldn't want to use the Lynx on a gathered end hammock as yu wouldn't have the coccoon type coverage that a UQ will give you. Its made to fit the bridge hammock like a glove for the saddle bags to be used and does its job quite perfectly. The coverage on the down area is totally different in the way the baffles are designed than the other UQ.s and narrows down so much to the foot end of the bridge. I am sure it would give you some coverage, but I prefer the sides of the hammock being covered in the gathered end hammocks as it snuggles around your sides and shoulders. With the RR Bridge hammock so flat laying yu don't have as much of that effect in your lay as it is very flat laying. Hope this helps and maybe others with chime in with their opinions.

Very good advice. It will conform to the shape of my rr without the use of the foot end spreader bars, but in trying to conform to a gathered end it leaves you wanting in the shoulders. Ymmv

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll stick with one of the full-length underquilts for gathered end hammocks then. I wish Warbonnet would do a full-length version of the Yeti...
