After a day of riding, you are about to set up for the night. The spot you pick may not always be near drinkable water.
Do you:
- filter whatever is available nearby
- make a stop earlier in the day and load up on potable water
- load up on non-potable water earlier and treat/filter it while setting camp
- set camp up, and ride to the closest place where you know there's good water?
If you prefer the "loading up" method, how do you carry your camp/cook/drink water to camp?
I'm on my way to get into this experience, and wondered whether or not is a filter or means of chemical treatment a necesessity to carry, and what wisdom has this community to offer....
Cheers!
