Hmm... you'll probably want to see some "action shots" of the New River in use!

I like that camo pattern. Looks like you've had it out in all types of weather. What's the lowest you've had the KAQ down too?

That's the "woodland" camo pattern, I believe. I bought the quilt in 2010. I think KAQ is now using a newer "mulitcam" pattern.

I've had the New River (standard 3-season, long version) on my ENO Doublenest down into the low 20's a bunch of times (the last two photos were taken in Maine in Feb. and NH in March). I wear heavy polypro long underwear, a wool hat and fleece gloves and have been comfortable each time. I'm a warm sleeper and your mileage may vary....

That is the progression I made. I got the Jarbidge first. Used it a bunch of times. Then my son wanted to get outa the tent and into a hammock. So I got a New River to supplement the Jarbidge. I have only used the New River twice so far. I actually prefer the Jarbidge for some reason. The neat thing is that the Jarbidge is a full length UQ for my son, just as the New River is full length for me.

At this point if I were to do a solo trip I would probably take the Jarbidge.

I just placed my order for my New River UQ. I just had to tell someone. My first UQ! If only I could place myself in a temporary coma until it arrives...

My New River underquilt arrived yesterday! Wow! Really impressive workmanship! Nice job Paul! I set it up tonight. Very easy to adjust. Got it dialed in quickly. Can't wait to try it out overnight. I love the long stuff sack that it comes with. It will fit perfectly where my pad used to go. Really, really happy with my purchase!

Thanks for all the info and pictures, everybody! This thread has helped me decide that this is the right UQ for my ENO Doublenest.
