Successful First Hang with my WBBB

First of all, I'm totally new to hammocking. I just used my WBBB 1.1 double layer hammock for the first time this weekend...in the snow! I'm still trying to figure how how to hang the things. The 3 season Yeti worked like a charm and kept me warm all night. I didn't get cold at all. I used my Marmot 15 degree down sleeping bag and a Thermorest Neo Air folded up in the footbox. The Warbonnet Superfly was awesome and kept the wind off of me all night long and was more spacious than I was expecting.

I just wanted to thank this forum for the wealth of information on making my first hammock camping trip a success! You guys have opened up a new chapter to my camping enjoyment! Shug, your videos were invaluable, I learned so much from them. Brandon, thank you very much for putting out such a great product! I think my camping buddies are now jealous and will be looking into hammocking soon!

    I am now a convert!

Welcome, Hikingboots! Sounds like a pretty good 1st night for a noob, especially getting the uQ just right! There is a learning curve, and it will just get better!

That Warbonnet gear is top notch!

Glad to hear that your first night out with the WBBB went well. If you can successfully hang in it in the snow, you'll be great in those summer months!
