Disregard my previous comment. Those stands won't walk closed. Cordage limiters will do ya fine! Looks good!

Surely, God could have made a better way to sleep.
Surely, God never did.
Slick set up! I may need to make another now.
BTW, where'd ya get the extra 4 poles? Thx
The same guy, I drove to Peoria to pick up the 16, but he says that he'll combine orders. Give the guy a call, he is very willing to go outside of Ebay and give a better deal.

Agfadoc...when I hang a hammock on my stand I set it for the sag I like and then, if it is too high or low to the ground I adjust the height of the ridgepole.
I suspend the ridgepole with continuous loops long enough for the ridgepole to be as low as I will ever need. I just wrap the loops around the pole as many times as needed to raise it when required.
I also put a short piece of bicycle tire inner tube on the "tree" straps to guarantee they won't slip on the aluminum.
Looks good, but in your write up you have a few places that had me a little confused until I looked at the pic closer. You put a piece of PVC in the eye bolt, then pressed a NUT, not a bolt into it. And again where you put the 3/8" NUTS (not bolts) and washers inside the pipe leg and floating on the bolt to keep it from crushing the leg.....RR
