Tarp ridgelines

I cant figure out how to attach my tarp to its ridgleline. I wanna use an asymetrical design. I also would like to use a shower curtain as the tarp. Any help would be great

what are the dimensions of the curtain. What hammock are you using and what is the length?

Dutch is asking good questions...The answers should be discovered before you continue.

You can attach a small round pebble tied with a tight cord onto the corners (makes a "bump" on the tarp surface). This is easiest if you use a loop to tighten down the pebble. Then tie/clip your tarp ridgeline (or prussic if using a 1-piece ridgeline) onto that. I've seen folks use this method as a field repair when loops break off a tarp (Thanks LilRicky)

You might also purchase the "Side-wall tieouts" Some of our HF vendors sell - but I don't know if those would hold-up to ridgeline stresses.

Thats what i wound up doing, using rock as anchor points. I didnt think about a pussik at the time so i just attached my rope to the tree. The wasnt quite enough to cover the footbox of my topquilt. It was sonewhat moist ,dewy, in the morning.

But answer Dutch's questions, the tarp dimensions as of current are 71"x70". It will be changing soon I hope. I may exten it and make it longer. Possibly to 70"x108". I did some research we i got home and saw the prussik, it looked promising. My hammock ridgeline is 74" long.
