I don't know if this has already been answered. Browsing thru all of the posts to find an answer can be daunting with so many threads and posts lol. I've got a clark vertex hammock on the way and I'm not a huge fan of knots. I had a look at the method of suspension and it looks like one of the most convoluted out there, knot wise, because all three lines are in sets of two rather thick ropes. That means two knots or one giant one on each tree. Blegh . I just want to know if there is a rope type strong enough to replace what comes on the vertex and use it with the biner and two rappel ring method. So far I've gleaned that paracord is a no no. Any suggestions?
