Great ideas, maybe put the whoopies in a snack bag in with the tree straps in a larger freezer bag will get them separate, clean & dry.

    Thanks...

So I have a Plethora of bamboo on my property and decided to make myself some containers. Made a few of them and I am actually using this one to hold my entire suspension including a backup whoopie sling. Its mad entirely out of bamboo and Jute Twine with 2 pieces of shock cord to hold the cap in place. The diameter is just enough to house the descender rings sold at REI. I drilled 2 holes to allow my tarp stakes to slide through them and act as a reel for my webbing to make it super easy to coil up nice and neat. The container weighs alittle over 10oz which is quite heavy for just a container but the neat factor of it makes up for it a bit I think. I dont take with me on trips where there is alot of hiking but on short backpacking trips I bring it along.

Anyways, its not that practical but I think its kindof cool cuz its made out of all natural materials (-shock cord). I have a few others that I made. May see if anybody here would want one. Maybe the next group hang ill pass a few out.

I've got a couple sets I use. One is from Hammock bliss and it came with it's own small bag. The other set is narrower and I just bind 'em up with a rubber band and keep it in a small ziplock.

I haven't completed this yet, but I'm working on adding a mesh pocket to the bishop bag I stuff my hammock into. This would allow the suspension to stay with the hammock, but separate so tree sap or other dirt doesn't get in.
