Check this out HF Sipsey hang/backpack 11 years ago!

We had a deluge, and people got sick, I had trouble with my feet, and one member coming in at night( just before Halloween) tried to scare us by howling like a wolf(in a big rain), but he had the wrong guys! He high tailed it when he saw strangers coming out of shelters and looking PO'ed! LOL! It was a wild old time!

That looks like a fun group! The Sipsey hangs are a little bit more on glamming side, now, but we still follow Bankhead Boy fearlessly into wild adventures.

Left to right: Thomas/Bankheadboy, Hetori, Bigbamaguy, Angrysparrow, Skippy(kneeling down), DougtheElder, MacIntyre, myself/BillyBob, Hikingshoes. Forgive any misspellings or wrong names, it has been 11 years, Halloween 09. Several of these guys were at the original HF Sipsey group hang/backpack in Feb 09 when we got 4 or 5 inches of snow. And see that truck far right? I'm still driving that same truck! Oh heck, I'm still using some of the same hammocks and quilts from back then. And the tarp I used on that trip(JRB 11X10) I was still using until a few months ago, when a severe storm that was bringing down trees and damaging houses knocked my unoccupied stand over, ripping the tarp.

Hey Charlotte, I really hate I missed Y'all's most recent glamming trip! I know it was fun, and even got a bit cool!

It got chilly! I learned that it’s best to accept help when someone offers to adjust your underquilt on your new rig and the temps go down in the twenties.

We’ll see you next time, Billybob.
