Tutorial: How To Make an UCR

thus far i have used this style of setup on two outings, and then gave the first ones i made to my brother; he digs it. i swapped suspensions entirely, so i'm not here to sing the usual UCR hammock praises. i have been widening my skilsets to nclude lots of other things (friction fire is pretty fun) and i've only dabbled a little in archery because its expensive. i just built a dynaglide ucr to use as a 'long string' tiller string for bow making, so thanks Fallkniven for teaching me how again! i'll post a picture of whatever my first attempt at a board bow ends up as whenever i finish it.

I'm interested in trying a dynaglide UCR suspension. Is there any consensus as to the required length of the bury to keep these from slipping for someone under 200 lbs?

Made a pair of these today, using the original method posted. Haven't tested them under heavy load yet, but so far they seem to work great
Wish I had read the 175 messages or so for the improved method before I had started! . Anyhow, thanks for the tutorial!
