    Has anyone seen this yet?....

It's a sleeping bag designed to go around a hammock. Seems like it could be a good option for people that like to use their sleeping bag like a peapod. I don't think it's available yet, it wasn't on Grand Trunks website. Seems like an interesting concept for someone to give the Ol' DIY Try.

Kinda neat, looks like it might inhibit your ability to get diagonal somewhat?

There threads here where people have done this themselves with mummy bags. I have used a rectangular bag and just unzipped it a bit from the bottom to run the hammock thru. It works good for my kids because there is no fussing with UQ suspensions and falling TQs. It is cozy. I think it works better with smaller hammocks like the GT Ultra light. Which also are hung a bit tighter.

Last I heard, Grand Trunk was trying to patent this design, but Speer's peapod design was too close and the patent was rejected. Not sure what's going on now.

I was thinking the people that do that with their bags, and like it, would find this interesting since it is designed for that purpose. It would be a good diy project for someone like that. I personally wouldn't use it because I like my diagonal lay. I just wondered if anybody had seen the concept yet.

A 1/2 hour mod on a $25 U.S Army scout bag (green) resulted in a peapod-type bag with plenty of room to move about and even lay at an angle (for as much as I do anyways).
