Need Fabric Advice for DIY UQ

i am going to redo my current diy underquilt and am looking for some advice on what fabric to use

my current uq is made with 1.1oz downproof ripstop and i want to go with something lighter

i would like something that is breathable but also stops the wind better than the 1.1, and is obviously downproof, is m50 the best way to go? i know it's not the most breathable......

any other good options out there that are lighter than good ole 1.1? figured there are plenty out there with experience with the different fabrics on underquilts

    thanks

Of the available options out there right now, I would go with M50. That's what I'm using these days.

    Mad,
Is that recommendation of M50 for both the inner and outer shell?

What about switching to NoBull for the inner shell? That is the combo I was planning to use for my TQ, not sure how it would work out underneath.
    Any thoughts?

are your inner and outer layers both m50? how is it for breathability, any problems with condensation?

    thanks

As you may know, there is a history of confusion and mixed reviews about TiGoat's fabrics. I have made a quilt entirely of 7D - very expensive but love it.

The 8D - NoBull - NoBull 1 - NoBull 2 series has not proved to be consistently downproof, even varying across color choices. Therefore, I've made the personal decision to go with M50 from now on and avoid any potential headaches. I can find no negative issues with M50.

IMO, the NoBull fabrics are still useful as hammock socks, synthetic quilts, etc., where no down is involved.
