Thanks everybody for the comments. We're glad we got to see some more color before winter. We're proud of Stark. We are currently working on our winter setups to stretch into 4 season hanging.

That dog could have played in that mud all day. I just found out that those leaves go that color just before they fall off. They are not that color all the time, as I have been thinking they are. They are such a bright color at the moment, it’s amazing! That dog, Stark, is up for anything, it’s a 4*4 dog. The knife cuts pretty good. That was good, I enjoyed that, thanks very much, StormFox45!

Nice trip, and nice video!! Loved Stark ... the BK9 is a beast! Ethan Becker makes a nice blade, although I have been lately taking along a good hatchet for chopping tasks, or the K-Bar Potbelly. Looks like you guys got to use the end of the color season perfectly!

You gotta send Stark to Shug's wife's circus school to learn the "Dead Tree Traverse" while wearing a pack! LOL!

    Thanks for taking us along!

    Thanks for the kind compliments.

What hatchet do you prefer? What's the weight? I like the versatility of a big knife (coupled with a light saw) but I'm always up to try new things. I may shoot a video with my brother processing a tree with saw/knife vs hatchet side by side. I'm always looking for good kit to try.

The color was awesome. We've not quite hit it yet here. Was out last weekend and things are starting to turn. I'm looking forward to the change here.

Great trip. Thanks for sharing the video.
