and wouldn't you know it is raining. I am brand new to hammocks so I am not setting it up 'til Sat. Just had to tell someone who gets it. Be ready for some dumb newbie questions. This site is great!
Congrats on the new gear! Grab a tarp and head out into the rain. There is nothing like sleeping in a hammock and listening to the rain hit your tarp. And, it gives you even more pleasure to think of those ground dwellers and their muddy t**ts!

I have a tarp that came with it( Eno pro fly). Just don't want to get wet
You can tell your a noob.Us oldtimers go out in the rain and set up the tarp and then the hammock under it, just so we can lay back and hear the rain on the tarp.
