Indoors, in place of a bed, that is...I know there are a few of you who spend more nights camping than at home, you don't count!
I'm thinking of putting a loft style bed in the extra room and hanging my hammock underneath it. What say you lot?

sounds like a cool nesting spot for uncontrolable nap syndrome.
Ckeck out my signature! What's the loft bed for? Might be a good place tto store hammock gear.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
I sleep full time in mine and have been since I built my td stand. I spent a few nights in bed with my wife before making the full transition. My 16 month old son claimed my spot on the bed and surprisingly she has less room now than she did before. The loft bed thin is a decent idea, but I'd recommend a stand. You can move it all out of the way if you use the room for anything else.

My forum name is Fish<><; I'm in the navy; and I hate sleeping on the ground. If I didn't need ground to walk on or measure resistance to, I think I could happily give it up.
I'd use the loft for storage, this would probably go in my home office and the shelf area would be helpful to store my camping and outdoor gear that I don't want in the garage. Right now it's a fight for closet space!

Beds suck!
They're banned from our house.
Welcome to the ranks of the bedless.
Trust nobody!
beds do suck ... especially the bed_bug_motel_beds ... i kno how to spot the suckers at night ,,, then the strange looks of disbelief from the desk morons when i inform them what was trying to suck my blood in their nice motel ..
every day ... outside ... between two trees ... four seasons ... storms and hurricanes ... and floods and wildfires ...and stampedes ..
except for a few days now and then overnite on the job
I've been sleeping fulltime in my hammock a year now. (Happy anniversary, Hammock!)
