Video: East Matunuck Beach, RI

Well, I gathered up the family and headed to the beaches in RI for a little vacation time to end the summer with. We rented a house in South Kingston and spent our mornings and afternoons on East Matunuck Beach playing in the sand and surf with my daughter.

The weather was picture perfect, and I spent 4 nights hanging on the back porch in my WBBB. I had some of the best sleep that I have had in a long time. I didn't need the bugnet or the tarp, in fact, I only hung my tarp to give a little shade from the sun. My daughter had the time of her young life running up and down the beach like a wild child and chasing the waves!

I hope some of you find this video as fun to watch as it was to film. Thank you for watching.

Family, fun, sun, surf and hammocks, just doesn't get any better than that. You're little girl is precious. Enjoy it now as it goes by quickly, my little girl just turned 18 a few months ago, and it's definitely flown by.

Geez! Am I tired from just watching that! LOL! I forgot what a high-motor the little ones have! What a great way to end the Summer. Thanks for sharing that vid!

It was quite enjoyable. My daughter was crushed when we were packing up to leave and she went out to the porch and the hammock was gone!

Thank you. Those curls are hard to tame, but they sure look good!

You are not kidding! She will turn 3 in Feb, and the time has just flown by!

Thank you. She sure tired me out running around like that. I was glad to have a hammock to take a nap in while she was napping!

The ocean really gets them there wee kids fired up and running. That was really good to watch. Made me miss my daughter)))) What a fun age.

It was a great time together! I haven't had that much fun at the beach since I was a kid.
