    First DIY total package

My first build. 1.1 oz ripstop nylon. Double layer with pad insert, adjustable ridgeline, shock cord tie outs. 8X10 tarp with storm doors, and unsewn silicon attached pullout tabs on a continuous ridgeline with prusik knot tensioners. Shock cord self tensioners to be added. Velcro detachable mosquito netting. 10' straps, 6' whoopies, 4" aluminum toggles for Marlin. Working on a stuff sack. Not sure on weight, but it's lighter than any of my tents.

Any suggestions for improvement are welcomed.

That is a great looking setup, But it's gonna be a pain carrying those dumbells on the trail.

No no OG, I don't carry dumb bells on the trail. The dumb bells were just for the test setup. Dumb bells on the trail, that's ridiculous!?! I've already trained the squirrels to hold the tie outs. Getting the one to yell," Heave"! Taking a little longer than I expected...

My wife found a Brother machine on Amazon for $139. Regularly $399. Got it two weeks ago. The thing basically sews by itself. I just feed it. My next project is down top and under quilts. Seems like they'd be pretty easy. We'll see...

Thanks for the compliments. I have to give credit to that Shug fella. His videos are extremely informative, and pretty entertaining. I recommend checking them out if you haven't already!
