High School Football Camp Hang

My son asked me if he could borrow my WBBB for his 4 day football camp. At first i was like, take the ENO DN, then i gave in and let him take it. Most of the kids thought it was pretty cool but the head coach said it was awesome! He came home last night and said the camp was pretty rough but he slept great! One pulled out whoopie sling and a missing toggle were the only things that were wrong so all in all a good hang. I've got the double layer and at one point in the middle of the first night he thought he tore it in half lol. He was scared to tell me, thought I would beat him (he knows how much I love the WBBB). I let him off the hook and told him it was supposed to be like that.

I am surprised he wasn't the envy of the team after all his good nights of sleep!

I think he was but most of the kids thought if they got in the hammock they would fall. I guess the whoopie slings look like they are too small lol.

My football buddies would have wrapped me in duct tape..

You had to sleep with one eye open, or else they'd get ya.

Yeah i wouldn't hang around the guys I played football with... Duct tape, icy hot, towel snaps through the bottom, bucket of ice water... The list just goes on and on for what could have been done... I wouldn't have slept a wink...

But it looks like he survived, and slept well...

Nah he's 6'2" 223 lbs, lean and mean. Those boys were way to tired to play any pranks on anyone. I think I like his new coach, he's old school.

Lol pretty bad, but clean now, slept in it last night. Where did you play ball?

High School: Wichita East
College: Kansas State, where a big dude from Nebraska ended my football career with a clip to the knee.

Strangely enough, our football camps in High School (Kansas) were held in Nebraska. I guess I didn't eat enough of the corn while I was there.

**** sorry about the knee, I feel your pain, my first game as a Jr. blew out my right knee. ACL totally reconstructed, played my senior year but didn't even want to try college. Mad respect for you playing on a collegiate level. I'm preparing my son for the next level. My son has some interest in Nebraska, have a good family friend who plays D-end for them.

Hey were you playing for K-State back when you guys beat Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship? I listened to that game back in 03 while deer hunting and was rooting for you guys big time.
