'Preciate it Turk .... I truly enjoyed your as well and would love to see that country and experience that cold!
The tripod is the UltraPod. Got it at REI for $10 US.....
I love it, it is small and strong. I also use it to shoot Unicycle movies as I can strap it anywhere.
I am in a hotel on the road now so I put it on my TheraCane to show how it mounts....

Look forward to shooting more trips and working on keeping it interesting. Easy to think of missed opportunities post-trip. I think the editing process is the key. Short bits mostly. Some info and POV. Comedy or serious personalities. I liked how your rocked with the music and showed the getting there part. It was cool.

I have an UltraPod... I'll have to give that a try!
On editing the video... your video as seen here was just fine.
I was impressed at how well the videos turned out from my Stylus when I vied them on the computer (full screen). But when I transfered them to some storage like Photobucket, the quality was noticably less.
I guess that's going to be the case when a person takes the cheap route out???
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Could be..... but upload as a MPEG4 file and they tend to look a bit better but quality still less.

Shug My Man, you have not changed one bit...

My wife and I enjoyed the vid. Hope to hike together soon.

2008! Digging deep here. I was watching some old Shug videos last night and this one was just cracking me up with the cigars

It's just funny seeing shug smoke since he gave it up. Pretty cool seeing the old gear and how things have changed too!
