Cool video. Brings back a lot of good memories of my 7 day trip on the SHT 2 months ago. I love that trail. Definitely looks like you were having a great time.

What section did you backpack? It is a really good trail and I drive up as much as possible to pack and hang.
    Glad it set off memories!

This year I hiked north from Little Marais to Cascade River state park. This section, surprisingly enough, had almost no views of the lake until the last 15 miles. Two years ago, I went south from Little Marais to Gooseberry Falls, which had constant views of the lake. So I have covered a good deal of the southern half of the trail. I hope to hit the remaining sections in the next year or so, and through hike it some day. The trail has everything you could ask for: Beautiful scenery, variety, plenty of trees to hang from, and an actual throne in the woods at each campsite along the trail

I love that hike from LM to Grand Marais ..... even the snowmobile trail just before GM. For me the lake views aren't so important, I love being in the trees. It's a childhood thing.

It is the Stylus 850 SW. I really love it and a buddy gave it to me so that I could record trips. Man .... I got some terrific friends. Lucky am I.

Ok Shug. You've set the bar pretty high on your first video here. I was half expecting you to do a Survivorman type thing and catch and eat a bug or something.

Thanks for taking us along with you!

Well, Shug, thanks for taking a huge steaming crap on every trip report that's come before you. Seriously, excellent trip report. Cool plugs for ULA and HF, etc. Whod'a thunk to do a video? Besides you.
