From this weekend on the Mogollon Rim - perfect evening! Then some jerk came along and pitched a tent within 20 yards of me. Time to move!

I was out hiking to come back and see some kids in my campsite just hanging around.
Common sense isn't so common anymore.

In the lull between holidays I was able to sneak into the mountains for a day hike and was able to christen this new hammock. I was able to relax in comfort and enjoy the last of the day's southerly rays of sunlight. I used my windbreaker and down vest on top and small wool blanket under me all while a small wood stove heated water for the (late) midday meal and warm beverage. this hammock's first overnighter will have to wait for warmer weather as snow is finally settling in here in northern Utah.

I plan on bringing our hammocks EVERYWHERE this summer and hang whenever possible!!
