    Summer camp starts tomorrow!

My sons Troop heads out for their summer camp tomorrow. We are running our own camp this year.

This will be my first hang in my WBBB and my sons first in his HH Expedition! I am really looking forward to this trip!

    Wish us luck!

I am back and very tired. I did not sleep well at all. The biggest reason was the heat. And because of the heat, I had to get up about 5 times every night to get rid of all the water I drank during the day.

The most comfort I had was when I was on my back, but I have (according to my wife) sleep apnea and I kept waking up. If I tried sleeping on my side, I felt claustrophobic.

I will keep trying and maybe get this sleep apnea looked at.

Dcdoes. .. As someone who has sleep apnea, I can't tell you how important it is to start treatment, you wouldn't believe how much better you feel once you do. Good luck.

I have the same problem, and have to use a CPAP machine. If I am in a camp ground, at a state park or something, I can generally run an extension cord to power the unit. Otherwise, I go without. I have an eight foot hose, and can put the unit under the hammock on the ground or on a rock, and use it. I have heard that some people carry battery packs to do this, but they are very pricey. I can't wait for a truely portable CPAP to come out.

I am also hoping they do, I'd be the first in line to get one.

    Hey DcDoes,
It was a great trip. Stick with it, and you will find the sweet spot.

As far as beating the heat, try the O2Cool fan. I hang mine on my ridge line.

WLMiller54 It was a great trip, it reminded me of my youth. Sleep issues aside, I am glad I went. Thanks for the great program!
