The constrictor toggle prototype.

This is just a prototype but it works. Pics at bottom

I drilled 2 holes in a carpenters pencil. Line goes in and around the center of toggle, into the other hole and out the other side creating tension on the toggle.

Toggle is inline with the Masons line. All you gotta do is wrap around an anchor point, tighten it up like you would other hardware, wrap it around 2 times, and put on a slippery half hitch for safety.

You can slide it to where you need to when there's no tension. Put the tension on and it can't move. Constrictor style.

Gonna make some more with assorted materials I have lying around. Different shapes and so on. I need to come up with a name for it. Any ideas?

I like it.
I made something similar in that I could slide it along the line to where I wanted it and then lock it in place. The one at the top of the page was hard to slide but the one ½ way down worked well.

That's enough for Ridgeline and all the guy line tie outs for 2 tarps.

UGQ does not have that other bit of plastic used to pull out the line, but you can get those from Dutchware. Very inexpensive, but good luck buying just those!
