Just want to post this here to see if anyone wants to join me and a few friends. Plan is to get together the weekend after the last playoff game and before the superbowl. Not sure where just yet, will need to get a head count to make that call.

Last trip it was my brother, hiking partner and myself. They both tented but I used my hammock. First night got down to 17deg, second was around 30.

My good friend Mr. Dickle should be making an apperance again this trip.

This is mainly going to be at one of the places we can pull into and setup, no hiking or carrying loads of gear to stay warm. I might bring my 7 man tent as a meeting area as I was given an OLD colman heater that I want to try.

Don't watch playoff-football-sport junk. what weekend are you talking about. and where. i know stealth sites near here http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...36707&t=h&z=11 im assuming your talking north of here.

Finally got the specifics done on where we will be getting together. We will be at the Goshen Pond Camping area. This is a drive in, non-structured camping area. I will need to get a head count so I can pick up the required permits. Cost is $2 per night per person. Figure I'll pick up the permits and someone else can bring umm, beverages. There is no alchololic beverages permitted, so be discreet.

Reason we are going for this site is it's easy to get to with a vehicle and the cost isn't that bad. There are plenty of trees, but I will be shooting to get the best area early.
