Tell us how much you're liking it, and what you’ve had before this.

I want the WBBB and a DangerBird but have to choose just one.... at a time anyway ;^)

    Hello again..

    Hi Everyone,

    Thanks for all your comments.

The Blackbird is my first hammock! I've never used a hammock before but pain in my hips - and an overwhelming desire for a good night's sleep - convinced me to try a hammock. I'm a big fellow (largish?) at 6'2" and 230 pounds so I wanted a hammock that would fit me. Since this is my first hammock I don't have much to compare with, but I did notice that the Blackbird has lots of room to move about and try different sleeping positions. My "sweet spot" seems to be diagonally with my head to the right, and feet to the left.

The Blackbird is very comfortable. Sleeping in a hammock is different than sleeping in a bed or on the ground but I was surprised at how quickly I got used to being above ground!

I remember when mine came. I made sure to scoot off to the local REI and grab a couple carabiners, and some MSR groundhog stakes as soon as I got the shipping notice.

Have fun playing with your new toy.

Once of the first things I did after a couple test hangs in it is get some glow-in-the-dark paracord to make myself some zipper pulls.
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
