Great deal and great machine
Great deal and great machine
What a bunch of girls gawking over a sewing machine! JEEEBUSS
Take it down to the shop and have it serviced. They probably can tell you or give you a reference for what each individual foot does. Machines this old don't have a bunch of fancy functions so the feet had to do the work. Thanks to not having a bunch of mechanical nightmares under the hood machines this old just go on working forever and ever, just keep em clean and lubed. Shop will do that and show you the places you need to hit.
Pretty good bartering, congratulations.
A few nice feet too! That adjustable hemmer foot will be a nice for hammock making.
Also a binder foot in the mix. I ....love.... binders

I did the service on it myself. I already had a 1948 singer that is the same runs great and woke up today and checked craigslist again and found a NECCHI BU machine for $50 and Im going to go check it out today. I have to stop buying stuff lol..
Necchi is a great machine. My mom keeps telling me to take hers but I've resisted so far. She still uses it now and then. It's great to use though.
Some say I'm apathetic, but I don't care. - Randy
I just picked up a table and machine, a Singer 251-12 industrial!
