in other news, welcome aboard, we'd love your input. Mike
Much gratitude to those who have spent money, sewed, experimented, etc. to get a good hang and messed around with commercial hammocks and posted results on this forum. We lurkers appreciate it!
I'd reciprocate but can't top anything that's already been said. But, living in northwest WA, there's new barriers to break for cold weather hammocking over snow.
If anything, this forum has inspired me to spend money making trips to Hardware Sales, Bellingham, WA to buy webbing, buckles, and rope.
Have you read about Turk's arctic adventure?

Hello,
I lurk
I've got and have hung in my No-See-Um HAAB style hammock 4 or 5 times now and have had 0 probs with it. I recently purchased a HAAB double-wide and will be testing it out very soon. Thanks for all of the informative posts in this forum.
I'd lurk more often, but I've got a big mouth and have a difficult time keeping it shut.
Trust nobody!
I log in and lurk everyday , I just don't get to post everyday . I really try not to post unless i can add something to the thread, but seeing that this thread is more of a free for all, here I go . Some of yall may have been wondering where I am, I am here everyday, I just don't have anything to add .

I lurk here a lot. I want to thank you all for so many good ideas. It was this forum that got me to buy my Claytor, and I haven't regretted it yet! Now I'll go back to lurking 'till I have something constructive to add. Peace, Ritz.
Why didn't someone tell me sooner? I don't HAVE to sleep on the ground!
