That’s a good fun video, kind of light, bright and cheery! Very well made and with some toe taping happy music to go with it! Thanks for the video, Speedy Gon!
Took a bit longer to set down, I had to have a quick little nap and lay in the hammock.

I did wonder if you might forget your tree huggers though (glad you didn't).
    Thanks for sharing.
It's never happened thus far. Forgetting the tree huggers. I hope I never do forget them. That would be a bit of an predicament if that every happened. I don't know, what would you do?

I'd use my whoopies and between teh whoopie and the tree periodically space pencil sized/diameter twigs to spread/distribute the force.
That fear is one reason that I went to a continuous system....everything hooked together; the other reason is having walked 30 minutes to where I camped---that after the doubt crept into the mind, stopping and pulling out the rig discovering no huggers in the sack

Good stuff. Looks like you're putting that Gopro to good use.

Hi BigA, Usually when I see a tree, I'm inspired to setup my hammock.

Hi MedicineMan, Love the whoopies, makes for very easy setup. So far, finger's crossed I've never forgotten my Tree Huggers. I'm very particular with the Tree Huggers, I always check and than double check I have not left anything behind.

Thanks Redoleary. Yes, I'm having fun with my new GoPro camera, I can't wait for a 7 day hike coming up, Been practising my editing skills. I've got a overnighter coming up soon and possibly a 4 day hike in the next couple of weeks, followed by a 7 day hike in remote area. Can't wait. Got myself a solar Panel. Should be lot's of trip reports in the next month.

Wow cool! I tried making a few time lapse videos myself, but have been unsuccessful.

Heh, I did a very similar video recently. Was out testing my new whoopie slings and did a timelapse of me setting it up and tearing it down:

Time lapse are fun. I did another timelapse setting up my hammock at Fraser island. It's in my latest video report on my Fraser island hike.

Would love to see more time lapse from other hikers.
