    Finally made myself a hammock!

After using my double layer 1.1 WWBB for almost a year, I decided it was time for me to make my own hammock. Don't get me wrong I love my WWBB, just wanted to see what I could do personally. I made mine from a single layer of 1.5 breathable nylon, with a 70" width and 126" length with an established structural ridgeline of 103". I attached the no-seeum netting to the outer edges of the hammock AFTER I erected my structural ridgeline! and sewed a continuous double zipper on one edge for entry. The extra width and length makes for a more comfortable lay. Upon trying it out, I noticed I didn't get the calf issue I normally will sometimes get with my WBBB, I was able to get a fantasticallly longer diagonal lay. I did utilize WB's elastic stays to maintain a tauntness on the hammock outer edge and netting.
With snakeskins, webbing, clips, whoopies and bag it came in at 1 lb. 5 oz.; 5 oz less than my WBBB with same setup. I'll be designing a storage space within the hammock to house my big junk (there's plenty of room at the top of this hammock, so I may be putting that space to good use as a nighttime storage spot, and of course a ridgeline organization bag goes along with the outfit.
Plan on trying it out in the "real" within a few weeks if not sooner.

Ok, now you're just showing off. Speaking as someone who is DIY impaired, I'm jealous. But definitely nice work! Well done!
